On November 15, I filled the pulpit for Pastor Martin after his wife had their fifth child Jonathan Isaac.  Then on Sunday, November 22, we were able to attend the Thanksgiving services at Norwoodville and Altoona Regular Baptist Churches.  It was a joy to attend these services and see our friends that have been supporting us with their prayers and finances.

As we were parked at Cumberland, Iowa, I was able to spend time hunting deer with my bow.  I was able to spend lots of time in tree stands reading and waiting for that deer to walk by.  Although I was not able to harvest a deer, I did lots of Bible reading.  Next year, I will have to try again.

For the month of November, we have been busy with revival meetings and trying to harvest deer for our meat supply.  During the week of November 7th through the 13^th, we held meetings with Pastor Nathan Lobb at  in Gilbert, Minnesota.  The meetings were very well attended; we had visitors from out-of-town and the faithful members of the church.  Every morning and afternoon, I was also trying to harvest a deer from the woods that surround the church.

Although I was not able to personally harvest a deer with my rifle, I was able to get some venison through the generosity of friends.  It was a great joy to see our friends again in Northern Minnesota and others who came up for the meetings and deer season including Pastor Ron and Joy Hemsworth.

Sunday, November 1, I had the opportunity to present our ministry at the Grace and Truth Bible Church in Aurora, Minnesota.  This church with the guidance of Pastor Don Miller has been reaching this community with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  They also have been faithful at supporting missionaries around the world.  Please pray that this church will take us on for support.

That Sunday, the church also presented a five gallon glass bottle full of change and dollar bills to Pastor Paul Lobb for Bibles International.  This money was given for the printing of the Cuzco Quechua translation of the Bible.   There are 100 churches in that region of Peru trying to reach the 10 million Quechua Indians.  Now, they will soon have the New Testament in their own language.  In the evening, Ken and Sharon Lovell who are missionaries to the Quechuan Indians shared with us that this project needs more workers to teach the Quechuas how to read, so they can read this Bible in their own language.
