Calvary Baptist Church
After we finished the repairs on our trailer in Portland, Oregon, we made the trip down to Paradise, California. The trip took us over some very high mountains and beautiful valleys as we crossed the Nevada and California state line. For two hours during the trip, we had a great view of Mount Shasta. What a beautiful view that God has given to us to enjoy.
On September fifth, I was able to speak at the Calvary Baptist Church in Paradise, California. For Sunday school I challenged the adult class with several different methods of evangelism as found in Scripture. In the morning service I preached a message from John 3 expounding on why would Nicodemus risk a trip to see Jesus at night. Jesus answered Nicodemus that he must be born again. I closed the service with an invitation for the lost to trust Christ as Savior and for the saved in the congregation to think of someone that they knew who is not saved. Eight people raised their hand asking for the Lord’s help to find the courage and the time to share the gospel with their unsaved friends. Please join me in praying for these Saints as they strive to reach their friends for Christ.
