After our week of meetings at Temple Baptist Church in Charles City, Iowa we traveled back to the West to the Heartland Baptist Church in Bellevue, Nebraska. On Sunday April the 22nd we presented our ministry to the church family. For Sunday School the whole family gathered for a story from Rodney. Rodney helped me tell the story of Daniel and his faithfulness to God as well as to the king of Babylon. Sunday morning I preached on Noah and his walk with God. On Sunday Night I presented our ministry as well as preached on I Thessalonians chapter 4 on the second coming of Christ. We looked at the fact that we can rejoice on Christ’s promises. Please be in pray that this church in Bellevue might take us on for much needed support.

We will be leaving Bellevue on Monday morning to have some work done on our trailer. We have a propane leak that we need to have fixed before our very busy summer ministry.

On April 14 – 18 we are holding meetings in Charles City, Iowa at the Temple Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Fessel and his wife have a very exciting ministry hear in the northeast corner of the state of Iowa. On Saturday night the church family invited the parents of their JOY club to come and have dinner at the church and listen to their special speaker for the week of meetings starting on Sunday morning. Several of the parents came for the meal and listened to Rawley help me tell the story of Jonah.

Please pray that the parents who heard the gospel will respond soon to the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also pray for the children who have not responded to the Gospel that they will respond soon as well.

On Monday morning pastor and I went to minister in a school of at-risk children. Pastor has ministered there at this school for over 10 years. He speaks to 8 classes for about 40 minutes then he speaks for a chapel at the end of the day. On April 16 he asked me to come and spend the day with him before speaking at the church that night.

I felt like I was back in apologetics class at Faith Baptist Bible College. Lots of anger was communicated about God being unfair and how do you know that the Bible is true. Pastor and I defended the Word of God the best we could and without compromise. Please pray for the message that was shared and that the Holy Spirit can use these words to convict them of sin and of righteousness.

Snow! Snow! Snow! We are in Altoona, Iowa enjoying the last of the snow for this spring. Altoona Regular Baptist Chruch is our sending church with C.O.M.E. We had Easter Sunday open this year so I called Pastor Humburg to see if they would have enough room for us to park in their parking lot on one of the biggest attended Sundays in the year.

This church just east of the capital city of Des Moines has supported us for 16 years. Without their faithful support for all these years, we would not be able to continue in the ministry of evangelism. We thank Altoona Regular Baptist Church for their years of support as well as all the churches across America just like them that have faithfully kept us in their prayers and supported us financially.

While in Des Moines, Iowa I was able to find a doctor that will work with me to get my blood pressure under control. He also scheduled me in August for blood work to make sure that my medication is lowering my triglycerides and cholesterol. It has been hard to find a doctor that would be willing to work with me being on the road. Please keep praying for me and this health concern.

Please pray for us as we travel in the snow this Thursday, April 12 up north to Temple Baptist Church for our next meeting on April 14-18, 2007. This church is in Charles City, Iowa just east of Masson City, Iowa.

Roosevelt Utah is deep in the mountains of the state of Utah. Pastor Franklin and his wife Linda have started a church to reach these needy people. Please pray for the Franklins as they fight against the prince and the power of the air. The Mormon Church has a hold on these people that is hard to break. Pastor Franklin is boldly stepping into this area with a message of hope that these people so desperately need. Please pray for their safety and that a young family would be willing to go to Utah to help them in their ministry.

The Franklins have two single ladies coming soon to help them with the youth. They hope the ladies will be able to live in the little house in front of their property. Please pray that they will be able to work with the city of Roosevelt to make this a reality. The city is saying that the two buildings are too close together and one of the buildings must be torn down. They would like to be able to work something out with the city that would allow them to make use of both buildings. They are now thinking that they can build a walk way between the buildings that would pass the building code.

Our meetings in Roosevelt took place from March 25 to April 1, 2007. The meetings were well attended with faithful members as well as visitors from the community. Please pray that the unsaved will soon trust Christ as their Savior.
