On September 14th, I spoke at First Baptist Church in New Berlin, Wisconsin.  Pastor John Wooden was able to take a short break and see some of his friends from the time that he served in the Air Force.  Praise the Lord for faithful servants who by their service preserve our freedom.

There in New Berlin, I introduced our ministry with an all church Sunday school class with ventriloquism and object lessons. In the morning service, three people raised their hands saying that God had stirred their hearts for reaching their community for Christ.  During the invitation one of the ladies came forward to pray and ask God to help her see sinners as God sees them.  Please pray for this growing church just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

On September 7 – 12 I held meetings at the Berea Baptist Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.  It was a great encouragement to me to see Pastor Earl Swigart again and all my faithful friends that make up the church family at Berea.  Three of the saints raised their hand saying that they want to be more involved in what God is doing in their community.  I praise the Lord that God used his word to work in hearts and encourage the congregation.

Pastor Earl Swigart helped me polish the chrome on our truck and find a switch for our headlights.  We worked together on his tractor to get his mower working again.  As a result, I was able to drive a tractor for the first time.  Please pray for pastor Swigart as he continues to minister in the state of Wisconsin.

On August 31, 2008, I arrived alone at the Berean Baptist Church in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.  Jane is recovering in Pierceton, Indiana where her brother lives so that she can have regular therapy on her knee after her fall in New York.

As Jane was recovering, I held meetings in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to update them concerning our ministry.  This church has been faithfully supporting us for several years.  During this Sunday meeting and Wednesday night, we saw several visitors that came to see Rawley, Randy and Rodney.  Please pray with these grandparents that their children and friends will soon trust Christ as their Savior.

Pastor William Lobb is faithfully serving the Lord in this small church off the shores of Lake Michigan.  Pastor Lobb and I were able to go fishing on the lake with a friend of mine from Stevens Point, Wisconsin.  We caught one king salmon that we were able to enjoy for lunch.
