We presented our ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Naperville, Illinois with Pastor Dale Williams.  Dale and I were roommates in 1982 our freshmen year at Faith Baptist Bible College.  It was good to see Dale and his wife Shirley again.  Please pray for them as they continue ministering in Naperville, Illinois out side of Chicago.

Several responded Sunday to the evangelistic challenge and to the pictures of our ministry in the Philippines.  One of the ladies stood up and shared with the church family about a Spanish lady that she was able to lead to the Lord that week.  It was a joy to see these dear saints in the Lord serving the Savior in their community.

I was invited to be the special speaker for the AWANA Fair night on April 15th at Ankeny Baptist church in Ankeny, Iowa.  April 19th was open so we stayed at the church and enjoyed fellowshipping with friends from college days.  I was also able to attend the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches conference in Waterloo. Iowa.

Please pray for the two children that responded to the invitation after my message on Wednesday night.  One trusted Christ as Savior and the other child still has questions.  Please pray that the questions will be answered and the child will soon respond to the gospel.

The meetings in Bussey, Iowa were well attended for each evening including Monday night.  Our meetings started on Sunday, April the fifth and went through Friday April 10.  Each evening my friends helped me tell a Bible story just before the evangelistic message for the night.  On Thursday night we had a photo shoot with all of my friends including Rosie.  The children wanted their picture with each one of my ventriloquist friends.  Some of the adults even got involved with the picture taking.

Friday morning we got up early so we could move our trailer to the end of the Church building because of water backing up in the parsonage.  The construction crew needed room to dig up the PVC “Plumbing, Ventilation, Cooling” pipe going out to the main drain for the city.  As a result they found the clog and also put in a new pipe for an RV dump site next to the church for guest speakers.  On Friday night, we had an ice-cream fellowship with lots of delicious toppings.  It was a very sweet way to end a great week of meetings.  Please pray for Pastor Hanson and his family as they continue ministering in Bussey, Iowa.

March 29 through April 1, we held a week of revival meetings in Texarkana, Arkansas.   We had three raise their hands asking for prayer that they might walk with the Lord and see the lost through God’s eyes.  The church is growing and they are looking at some great opportunities to reach their community in the future.  Please pray as pastor leads them in these future decisions.

Each morning I was able to go with pastor and try our skills at fishing in some nearby local private ponds.  The last day that I was able to go fishing we were able to catch some fish to add to our freezer.  We are so thankful for this much needed supply of fish, as well as, a family that helped us with some canned goods for our cupboards.
