On July 19, we presented our ministry at Seeley Lake Baptist Church.  It was a joy to meet these brothers and sisters in Christ and to see how God is using them in this local Church in this valley of Montana.  Senior High week of camp at Lake Blaine Baptist Camp started on July 20th and ended on July 25th.  Several of the teens talked to their counselors looking for answers concerning their spiritual walk with the Lord.  During the week I learned that one of the teens was a devout atheist.  At the end of the week, he told his friends that he had lots to think about when it comes to acknowledging the existence of God.  Please pray for him that he will soon trust Christ as his Savior.

On Friday night, I preached on David and his sin with Bathsheba.  Over 25 of the teens stood up indicating their commitment to remain a virgin until they get married.  Please pray for these teens as they strive to be faithful in a corrupt world.

The second week at Lake Blaine Baptist Camp was Junior High.   Many made decisions concerning Christian living and choosing better friends at home and school.  We rejoice that three campers trusted Christ as Savior and one talked to a counselor concerning eternal security and assurance of salvation.  Please pray, we have two more weeks of camp.

On Sunday, July 12, I was able to promote the camp and introduce our ministry at First Baptist Church in Polson, Montana.  It was a joy to see friends that I met in college again and update the church with our ministry in evangelism.  Please pray for this growing church just south of Flathead Lake.   and for the next two weeks that we have scheduled at Lake Blaine Baptist Camp.

This week July 5 through 10, 2009, I was the evangelist speaker for Junior Boys at Lake Blaine Baptist Bible Camp in Kalispell, Montana.  Two Christian boys responded to the invitation with the desire to be obedient to their parents and those put in charge over them.  We also saw 5 young people respond to the Gospel asking the Lord to save them from their sin.

Please pray for us as we will be parked at Lake Blaine for three more weeks.  I will be the evangelist speaker for Junior High, Senior High and Junior Girls.

Hawthorne
, Nevada is a small town southeast of Reno, Nevada snuggled between a large mountain range and Walker Lake.  The church family was concerned that we would not have very many children show up for our meetings because they do not have very many children in the church.  We were very excited to see 29 children for the first day.  By the end of the week, we had seen many visitors and eight children had trusted Christ as their Savior.

hawthornetrain.jpgOn Thursday, all the children rode on a “train.”  The people have a true heart to reach their friends, neighbors, and co-workers with the gospel.  Please pray for this church as they search for a pastor to lead them in reaching this community with the gospel.

On June 14 – 18, 2009, in Baker, Montana at the First Baptist Church, we held our second Daily Vacation Bible School.   Everyone enjoyed our theme “On Track for Christ” with eye-opening decorations.  Because Baker is surrounded by ranches, some of the workers and children that visited drove over 45 miles to come to VBS.

It was great to see friends that I have known for years.  I first ministered at First Baptist as an interim pastor in 1987.  It was also good to spend time with Pastor Levi Durfey and his wife Tammy.  I praise the Lord for a pastor who loves the Lord, loves his people, and loves Montana.  Please pray for this fundamental Baptist church in the southeast corner of Montana.
