On October 25 – 27, we held revival meetings at the Calvary Baptist Church in Superior, Wisconsin.  During those few days of revival meetings, we had two come forward in the service.  Others told us as they left that they were encouraged in their walk with the lord.  Pastor Alan Schroeder and his wife are being used of the Lord in this growing church just a few blocks from Lake Superior .

St. Louis BridgeWe were also able to minister at Heritage Baptist Church in Duluth on Wednesday night for a special meeting to take the place of Halloween night.  It was good to see friends that came from other churches to see us for the one night meeting.  During the week I was able to walk across the bay walk on the long bridge that crosses over the bay between Wisconsin and Minnesota.  The walk was four miles roundtrip with a great view of the bay, the ships, and Lake Superior in the distance.

October 18, we ministered in Ankeny, Iowa at Ankeny Baptist Church just two miles from Faith Baptist Bible College.  During my freshmen year at Bible College, I was able to help as an Awana leader at Ankeny Baptist Church.  I saw many of my friends that I served the Lord with during those exciting days back in 1982.  Those friends, as well as professors, and staff from Faith attended the Sunday Evening service as we presented our ministry in evangelism.

During the week, Jane was able to attend the Iowa Ladies Fellowship and Caleb and I were able to attend chapel at Faith and catch up on friends that are now in College.  Please pray for us as we head up north this week to northern Wisconsin and the state of Minnesota.

We had great meetings at Heritage Baptist Church in Moberly, Missouri with Pastor Micah Panjada.  Pastor Panjada has a great job working for a bank branch that is located in the Wal-Mart in Moberly.  Because of this job, the Panjadas are able to homeschool their three children and minister at Heritage which is a small church on the edge of town.

Visitors came each evening and some returned for more then one night.  We have ministered in this church before several times and it was good to see these friends again and their spiritual growth.  In addition to preaching each night, I also used my ventriloquist friends to present challenging stories from the Word of God.  Rosie visited at the end of the week and told us how much she loves Jesus and how she is looking forward to the time when she can get involved in future revival meetings.

On October 4, we ministered in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Faith Baptist Church on Sunflower Road.  Over the last 19 years, we have ministered in this church many times with Pastor John Stange who is now retired and serving the Lord in Prior Lake, Minnesota.  Pastor Tommy Miller and his wife are now serving the Lord faithfully here in Cheyenne.  The church has grown and seeing great results after years of faithfulness.  Sunday morning, I told the story of Daniel with my friend Rodney and one little girl responded to the invitation to trust Christ as her Savior.

After the morning service, four adults raised their hand asking for prayer for a lost friend that the Lord laid upon their hearts.  Please pray that they will seek for the opportunity to witness to these friends and that their friends will soon respond to the gospel.   It was a joy to meet the new pastor and his family, as well as, see all of our friends that we have known for years.  We are looking forward to being with them again in December.
