Berean Baptist Church

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

On November 20th we left Duluth, Minnesota and headed south for Manitowoc, Wisconsin.  It was our privilege to hold a three day meeting at the Berean Baptist Church with Pastor William Lobb.  On Sunday after the morning service, we all stayed together and had a traditional Thanksgiving feast.   For the evening service, I preached my next message in the series, “Knowing and Living God’s Will.”

For the two meetings during the week on Monday and Tuesday, we saw members faithfully attend the meetings and invite people from the community.  On Monday night we had visitors come and take part in the service and enjoy the fellowship with the church family.  Please continue to pray for this growing church off the coast of Lake Michigan.

Heritage Baptist Church

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

During the week of November 9 – 20, we were parked at the Heritage Baptist Church in Duluth, Minnesota.  I was able to preach on Sunday, November 14th and for the two Wednesday Prayer meetings on November 10th and 17th.  The rest of the week I worked at harvesting and processing three deer to fill our trailer with some food for the year.  The Lord blessed with an abundant harvest and a great friend Pastor Eric Braun to help me with this big job.

We have a friend that came up from Rice Lake to see Jane and Caleb over the week end.  Caleb played games and swam in a local motel at the water park.  Jane and her friend Sue enjoyed shopping and spending time together in Duluth.  Please continue to pray for Pastor Braun’s health and for the church in Duluth, Minnesota.
