On Sunday, April 17, 2011 we held meetings at the Berean Baptist Church in Sandy, Utah.  We met their new pastor Wayne Mudge and Missionary Daniel Long who is helping at Berean while he is raising support.  We were also able to spend some time with some college friends Eugene and Donna Visher.  For Sunday School I spoke to the whole family with Rawley and some object lessons to present the gospel.  For the morning service, I preached an evangelistic message from the Gospel of John 3.  Then in the evening I introduced our ministry and told a story with the help of Randy.  Jane played her bass clarinet and I closed the evening with a message out of the book of Daniel.

We are looking forward to coming back to this church in September of 2012.

We had a great week of meetings at Grace Baptist Church in Washington, Utah.  Although some of the members of the church were sick, we had visitors each evening Monday through Wednesday.  Jane spoke each night to the children and I preached a new set of messages for the adults.  For Sunday School I used Rodney to tell the story of Daniel and used my object lesson on The Keys to Eternal Life.  They all enjoyed Rosie and her love for Samson’s good looks and unexplainable strength.  Please pray for those who have heard the gospel, but have not yet trusted Christ as their Savior.

On April 3- 6, our revival meetings at Valley Baptist Church in Winslow, Arizona were well-attended.  Pastor Woods and his family are very involved in the community reaching out to the needs of the saints and sharing the blessed truth of the gospel to the lost.   For Sunday School Rawley and I told the story of David and Goliath.  Throughout the week  I preached for each service and introduced a different ventriloquist friend each night.

youth-center01.jpgOn Wednesday at 5:00, I spoke to the youth group with ventriloquism and object lessons at their youth center.  The gospel was shared and an invitation was given, but there was no visible response.  Please pray for those that were there that are not saved that they will soon trust Christ as their Savior.   The young children enjoyed the ventriloquism so much that they all came over to the church for the evening service so that they could see Rosie.

From March 27 – 30, we held a week of revival meetings at the Berean Baptist Church in Holbrook, Arizona.   This work has been struggling for many years.  On Monday, friends from Open Door Baptist Church in Prescott Valley came to encourage the saints in Holbrook.   On Tuesday, Ed visited with his wife.   Throughout the week Sherry and her son Bobby attended each day.

Jane was able to help the pastor’s wife with some sewing projects that she has been wanting to do this past year.    On Saturday, they held a Secret Pals’ party to reveal last year’s friends and organize a new list for next year’s gift giving.  Please pray for this church in the desert of Arizona.
