On Friday May 1, 2020, I flew on Allegiant Airline from Mesa, Arizona to Rapid City, South Dakota. I was picking up some furniture that I have had at my Dad’s house. I spent all day Saturday moving two desks, two dressers and our waterbed frame to the front room to prepare to load on a moving truck on Monday. On Sunday, May 3, I was asked to preach at Rapid Valley Faith Baptist Church in Rapid City for the Sunday School hour and Morning Service. I was able to encourage the Saints with the inspired truth that God is our rock and not a mirage.
It was good to see my Dad and my sister Shirley who drove up from Greeley, Colorado. They both helped me move the furniture into the moving truck destined for Arizona. And friends from the church, a neighbor across the street and our friends Skip & Raquel Rice from Lead, South Dakota came to help me in this heavy adventure.
I left on Tuesday morning and arrived in Florence, Arizona on Thursday evening. Jane & I were able to move the object lessons, tables, and chairs. On Friday a friend and his grandson with a doily moved the heavy furniture.
