Dear Prayer Warriors,
The blood culture that was taken on September 18 took much longer than expected. As a result, Dr. Maxwell did not do open heart surgery on September 22, 2023. The results of the blood culture were finalized on Sunday, September 24th. Praise the Lord no bacteria was found in the blood culture. Dr. Maxwell has moved the open-heart surgery to October 18, 2023. They will check for available rooms on October 16th and plan on surgery on the 18th to replace my aorta valve with a Medtronic Freestyle Aortic Valve.
