Our summer began with a Daily Vacation Bible School at Calvary Baptist Church in Cambridge, Minnesota. The theme for the week was a “Quest For God’s Treasures.” The church was decorated with treasure chests, coins and gold nuggets. The church family was hoping to have a high of 25 children in attendance. We had a total of 33 children and two of them trusted Christ as their Savior
We finished the week with a slide presentation with pictures of the children participating in daily events, awards for the top point getters, and a cake decorated in the shape of a treasure chest. Many parents came to for the cake and presentation. Please pray for Calvary Baptist Church as they follow up these new contacts as a result of our Daily Vacation Bible School. Pastor Dave Gerhardt is a long time family friend who has been a great encouragement to us in the ministry of evangelism.
