“Western Round Up”

“Western Round Up” was the theme for our Daily Vacation Bible Schools this summer.  We held four weeks of Bible Camps and six weeks of Vacation Bible Schools.  We spent two weeks at Camp Manitoumi in Lowpoint, Illinois and two weeks at the Minnesota Regular Baptist Camp in Winnebago, Minnesota.  Our first Daily Vacation Bible School was in Blountville, Tennessee; our second, in Sauk Centre, Minnesota at Faith Baptist Church.  We were off to Faith Baptist Church in DeForest, Wisconsin.  Our fourth VBS was in Bussey, Iowa at Community Regular Baptist Church and our fifth was in Ladysmith, Wisconsin at Ladysmith Baptist Church.  After Ladysmith, we held our last week of Bible camp in Lowpoint, Illinois, then we headed out to Wyoming to Douglas for our sixth DVBS.  Finally, we conducted a Family Bible Time in Hulett Wyoming at First Baptist Church just 10 miles from Devil’s Tower National Monument.

We rejoice in the fruit that we have seen as a result of our ministry this summer.  In the Bible camp ministry, 13 young people said they were interested in being obedient to the Lord in the area of baptism.  Others raised their hands to indicate that they wanted to live for the Lord when they returned home and to witness to their unsaved friends.  As a result of sharing the gospel in our DVBS and camp ministry, 74 trusted Christ as their personal Savior.
