We celebrated Resurrection Sunday on March 31, 2013 at Berean Baptist Church in Holbrook, Arizona. Dick Zehrung pastors this very small church east of Flagstaff on I-40. On Sunday morning, we served a pancake breakfast and remembered our risen Savior in the morning service. Sunday night we started with some ventriloquism and an evangelistic message from the Word of God.
Each evening we had different people come from the community to see the ventriloquism and hear a message from the Bible. On Tuesday evening one of the young people responded to the invitation looking for assurance in her salvation. My wife Jane talked with her, gave her verses on eternal security, and explained the hope we have in believing by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for this young girl and others in the church that struggle with their faith in Christ.
